PENDEKATAN MULTISENSORI DALAM MODEL PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK SISWA BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS

The multisensory approach to learning model has been shown to be effective in increasing student engagement and understanding, especially for students with special needs. This article discusses the importance of applying a multisensory approach in a special educational setting, focusing on how various tools and techniques can be used to stimulate multiple senses simultaneously. Research shows that the use of learning model involving visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile senses can improve learning outcomes in a more inclusive and adaptive way. Through case studies and literature reviews, this article identifies the best methods and those most effective in supporting the learning of students with various types of special needs. In addition, the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of this approach in various educational contexts were also discussed. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for educators and curriculum developers in creating a more responsive and supportive learning environment for all students.
