PEMANFAATAN ECOPRINT SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS LINGKUNGAN DI SDI AL-ASNA BARAT LUMAJANG

This study aims to describe the use of ecoprint as an environmentally-based learning medium at SDI Al-Asna Barat Lumajang. Ecoprint, as a technique for printing natural motifs of leaves and flowers onto fabric using natural dyes, is not only an artistic activity but also an educational tool that integrates environmental values, aesthetics, and student skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews with teachers, observations of student activities, and documentation. The results show that the use of ecoprint provides a contextual and enjoyable learning experience, enhances student creativity, and fosters a caring attitude towards the environment. This activity is integrated into the learning of Science, Arts and Culture, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). These findings support that ecoprint is an effective learning medium in shaping students' character and improving cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills holistically. Thus, ecoprint becomes part of a transformative learning strategy based on values, experiences, and the environment.
