Abstract

Abstract :

Education at Islamic boarding schools is still believed to be a very effective medium in developing children's intelligence, skills, and personality. Islamic boarding schools manage and organize learning activities with consistent intensity and sustainability so that the transformation of knowledge becomes complete, developing the personality and character of students who breathe the nation's noble values and religion. This article discusses the design of Islamic boarding school curriculum development to shape spiritual intelligence and intellectual intelligence for young children. Based on the results of primary source studies, it can be concluded that Islamic boarding school students create or design their curriculum based on curriculum management theory in general starting from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling/evaluating. This is seen as necessary so that student Islamic boarding schools can optimally provide their role to students in developing their spiritual and intellectual mentality
