This study aims to describe technique scaffolding to develop cognitive intelligence of early childhood in education units MI. Method The research used is library research with data collection through collecting information from books and articles. Technique scaffoldingis a learning process that aims to make learning more meaningful. The provision of scaffolding learning is the teacher's effort in guiding students to achieve success. Piaget's theory of cognitive intelligence development is a theory that provides an explanation of children who are able to adapt and define an object and events around it. Children learn about the characteristics and functions of an object such as a house, environment, food, and social objects such as self, parents, and friends. Early childhood is a child who is in the age range 1-5 years. This understanding is based on the limitations of developmental psychology which includes infants(infancy or babyhood)0-6 years old, early age(early childhood)1-5 years old, late childhood(late childhood), aged 6-12 years. Technique scaffoldingto develop cognitive intelligence of early childhood in education units MI There are several things, namely: modeling certain behaviors, presenting an explanation, raising student participation, invite students to give clues or keys,verify and clarify understanding.
