PERAN EVALUASI FORMATIF DALAM MENDUKUNG PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS CAPAIAN PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

This study explores the important role of formative evaluation in an educational context that focuses on learning outcomes. Formative evaluation is used to continuously monitor student learning progress during the learning process. Feedback obtained from formative evaluations allows educators to adjust teaching strategies and improve educational interventions to improve students' understanding of learning material. This approach not only helps achieve the set learning objectives, but also facilitates the development of relevant competencies in students' lives outside the classroom. The purpose of this article is to investigate and describe how formative evaluation can play a role in supporting learning that is oriented towards learning achievement. This study uses descriptive analysis methods to explain the role of formative evaluation in an educational context that focuses on learning outcomes. The research results show that formative evaluation has a crucial role in supporting learning based on learning outcomes. Formative evaluation provides an opportunity for educators to continuously monitor and evaluate student progress throughout the learning process. In conclusion, formative evaluation is not only a tool for measuring student achievement, but also an important tool in designing learning that is responsive and adaptive to student learning needs.
